Between AI tools, fast-moving news cycles, and increasingly crowded inboxes, what often makes the difference in the end is what can’t be automated: creativity, precision, and a genuine understanding of journalists. That’s exactly what Niklas, Desiree, and Katharina bring to the table – in different roles. One in PR with a strong creative drive, one in Finance with a focus on structure, and one in PR with a knack for matchmaking.

[he/him]
Role: PR Manager
Your working style as an emoji: 🤨🤓💡
Your hidden talent: Self-irony and not losing your sense of humor, even in difficult situations
Favorite lunch: Difficult one – because if there’s one thing I tend to forget, it’s going grocery shopping for the next day 🥲😅
getpress in three words: Teamwork is dreamwork
Creative topic & journalist bloodhound
(Niklas didn’t want to tell us – but we know there have been quite a few, and we’re very proud.)
I was explaining to a client how the target media list works – and accidentally shared another client’s target media list instead of theirs. Just a small fail, and everyone took it with humor. Still: Always double-check what you have open before sharing your screen.
I think the industry needs creativity above all else. AI is making more and more tasks easier for us or even taking them off our hands completely, such as writing guest articles. But the best ideas still come from people, and I believe that will remain the case in the future. That’s why creativity will be one of the qualities that continues to make PR agencies indispensable to their clients. My contribution? AI off, brain on, and bringing creative ideas to the table 🤓
I’d clearly be an elephant: calm, clever, and thick-skinned. Because PR can get pretty hectic at times, and you need to be able to let some things roll off your back.
[she/her]
Role: Accountant
Your working style as an emoji: 📊🔍✔️
Your hidden talent: Creating structure (and order) where there was none before
Favorite lunch: Porridge with blueberries, Skyr cream, and a little chocolate
getpress in three words: Dynamic, team spirit, innovation
Guardian of the numbers & salaries 😉
Creating structures that ensure accounting and payroll run efficiently and reliably.
This didn’t happen at getpress: a seemingly legitimate payment request that later turned out to be an attempted fraud. Ever since, I’ve been even more thorough when checking such transactions.
Every company needs reliable structures behind the scenes. My contribution is to make sure the numbers remain transparent, accurate, and traceable.
A bee 🐝 because I also work in a structured way, am reliable, and make sure everything runs smoothly (financially) behind the scenes.

[she/her]
Role: PR Manager
Your working style as an emoji: 🤓😉☕
Your hidden talent: I can turn even complex situations into memes
Favorite lunch: Oven-roasted vegetables with feta
getpress in three words: Smart, driven, warm-hearted
Topic matchmaker and persuader
Understanding how to successfully pitch to major media outlets – I was so proud of my first print clipping in Stern that I showed it to the kiosk owner 😅
I reached out to an editor on Instagram with a carefully crafted pitch – and only later realized that I was logged in with my private account, where there wasn’t much information about me. Needless to say: always double-check which account you’re logged into.
Companies need people who truly understand journalists. People who move through the world with their eyes and ears open and make the connections that matter. We also need more transparency in PR: What’s the method? What are the goals? That’s the only way PR can help companies grow.
I’d be a little tit 🐦: constantly chirping away with the team, clients, and editorial offices to develop ideas and topics together. Because the best matches come from conversation – and they feel effortless.
